Superintendent Bio

James Regier

Mr. Regier is a 1981 graduate of Frederic Remington High School. Following high school, Mr. Regier attended Bethel College in North Newton where he received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business with an emphasis in Business Education. In 1989, he received his Master of Science degree in Guidance and Counseling from Emporia State University. In 1996, Mr. Regier was certified in building level administration through Emporia State University and, in 2000, he received his district level certification from Fort Hays State University.

Mr. Regier has either taught or served as counselor at Hugoton High School in Hugoton, KS, Crest High School in Colony, KS and Remington High School. He has served as a building level administrator at Newton High School in Newton, KS for two years and at Remington High School for ten years. Mr. Regier began serving as the Remington superintendent during the 2008-09 school year.

Mr. Regier and his wife Deb live in Whitewater, they have three children all of whom are educators. Most evenings you will find them at district activities, which they truly enjoy. Mr. Regier also enjoys working on the family farm, hunting and golfing in his free time.
